About the YourBusiness SME Awards.

The YourBusiness Awards are designed to celebrate excellence in the SME sector and YourBusiness aims to highlight companies who are fostering best practices and innovation in their industry.

The awards are open to all SMEs in the GCC;
First and only media led SME Awards initiative;
Independent and objective judging process;
Country and sector neutral;
Rewarding success and entrepreneurship.

The Awards recognise the best SME business leaders in the region from the categories below:

Best SME in the GCC: Awarded to a small business with between one and 200 employees that has grown rapidly and achieved success in its market through superior products and service.

Fastest Growing SME in the GCC: Awarded to a small business (turnover below AED 20m per annum) that has grown the most over the past three years.

Best Use of Technology: Awarded for best use of technology to make their company more efficient, profitable or innovative.

Best Young Entrepreneur in the GCC: Awarded to an entrepreneur under the age of 30 who has developed a business from start-up (business must have been running for at least one year).

Best New SME: Awarded to a business in any sector that has been launched within the last three years.) Only businesses established from 2004 onwards are eligible for nomination).

Best franchised SME: Awarded to a business based on a recognized franchise model either from or outside the region.

Best Female Entrepreneur in the GCC: Awarded to a female entrepreneur who has developed a business from start up in GCC (business must have been running for at least one year).
